New Eurocamp Camping Parks For 2019
Eurocamp’s New Camping Parks In 2019
Eurocamp have added Camping Oyam on the Atlantic coast just a few miles from Biarritz, Camping La Presqu’ile and Camping Les Peupliers on the sun drenched Mediterranean coast of France and Camping Adriano on the Adriatic coast of Italy near to the historic city of Ravenna to their list of destinations for 2019.
Camping Oyam
Camping Oyam is a spacious and sunny camping park tucked deep into the southwestern corner of France, close to stylish Biarritz with its wonderful Atlantic beaches. There’s also plenty to do on site, especially with Camping Oyam’s new Aquatic Area that has a beautifully landscaped pool, slides and spray park, all overlooked by a bar terrace. The parc even runs it’s own surfing camps for those who are new to this pursuit or those wanting to brush up their surfing skills.
Camping Oyam can be reached by road from Bilbao or Santander if you prefer to avoid a long drive through France or by making use of nearby Biarritz airport.
Camping La Presqu’ile
Making the most of its stylish Languedoc location, La Presqu’île is a lake-side parc nestled within a pine plantation, within easy reach of the Mediterranean coast. A smaller camping park with just 163 pitches, there are still plenty of activities, entertainment and refreshment on offer, including a pool complex plus a water slide.
Cycle hire to explore the pine forest and local area, and tennis, are two other activities here. The trees of the pine forest provide plenty of shade from the heat of the Mediterranean sunshine. There is direct access to a nearby lake, whilst the beach at Port Barcares is not much more than a mile away. Aqualand Port Leucate is only a few miles away if you want even more waterpark action for your family to enjoy.
Camping Les Peupliers
Located just a mile away from the bustling, modern seaside resort of Canet Plage and it’s array of seafood restaurants, bars and cafés around it’s sandy Mediterranean beach, Camping Les Peupliers is another new Eurocamp addition for 2019.
There’s plenty to do at Camping Les Peupliers itself too, with free access to a wonderful waterpark, with slides, pools and a sprayground. Tennis, table tennis and boules are all available on the parc. There is also a bar and a restaurant on the site itself.
Camping Adriano
If you’re a fan of Italian beachside holidays, then Camping Adriano will be just the ticket. Barely ten minutes walk from the campsite’s boundaries is the sandy Adriatic beach at Punta Marina. Camping Adriano is new to Eurocamp for 2019. It has it’s own beautiful pool complex, complete with a slide, a rain forest, water games, and even a dolphin fountain.
Camping Adriano is a large campsite with 500 pitches so in high season it will have a hectic feel to things and is popular with Italian holidaymakers.
The nearby city of Ravenna is a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to its wonderful array of Roman mosaics. One of the most historic cities in the whole of Italy, and was once the capital of the Byzantine Empire. If you want a break from driving, why not hire cycles at Camping Adriano and cycle through the pinewood forest from Marina Terme to Marina di Ravenna, where you’ll find dotted along the pier high-tech fishing huts, a marble sculpture and a windmill covered in mosaics!
