Introducing New Eurocamp Camping Sites For 2018

Eurocamp have added three new camping destinations to their Eurocamp 2018 portfolio of camping sites. Watch out for others they plan to add to this impressive range.

1) Canyelles, Costa Brava

Canyelles is a new location for Eurocamp on Spain’s Costa Brava. It’s just 200 metres from a delightful sandy cove. The lively resorts of Lloret de Mar & Tossa de Mar are also on your doorstep. This is a beautifully landscaped, hillside terraced camping park. Amenities here also include a large swimming pool, a bar, restaurant and a grocery store.

This is a medium sized camping park with 345 pitches. The Eurocamp accommodation here comes in the shape of the new Azure range of mobile homes. Getting here involves a drive of about 7 hours from the Spanish port of Bilbao, though of course you could also fly to Girona or include the destination as part of a longer trip through France with other stops along the way.

2) Palmyre Loisirs, Gironde

New to Eurocamp for 2018 Palmyre Loisirs has a fabulous pool complex. On top of that, it’s only about a two mile drive to the sandy beaches of the Gironde Estuary, close to where it meets the Atlantic Ocean.

If you have visited Palmyre Loisirs in the past prior to being taken onboard by Eurocamp, you will now see a vast difference with it under new management and keeping up to the high standards required by Eurocamp. The new pool complex replaced the old swimming pool in 2015 and is located more centrally than the old one. Other facilities include a tennis court and eight boules pitches.

Accommodation options include the Azure, Eurocamp’s newest range of mobile homes, complete with decking and more spacious than other accommodation options.

3) Camping de la Plage, Roussillon

New to Eurocamp for the 2018 season, Camping de la Plage is in St Marie La Mer, just to the north of the popular seaside resort of Canet Plage with it’s range of seafood restaurants, cafes and bars, many of which are along the promenade overlooking the beach. St Marie La Mer itself has enjoyable markets, bars and restaurants, and a pretty marina of it’s own to browse around.

The medieval, walled city of Carcassonne, the historic capital city Perpignan and the fishing town of Collioure are amongst several places to visit if you enjoy sightseeing.

Camping de la Plage has direct access to a sandy Mediterranean beach and has an upgraded pool complex due to be fully functional for the 2018 season. Roussillon is the sunniest part of France so there should be ample opportunities to enjoy both during your stay.
