There is a well-developed children’s entertainment programme at most of John Fowler’s holiday parks. Customer reviews tend to suggest that the cheaper accommodation options are often in need of some TLC so it might well be worth going for higher graded accommodation to avoid disappointment, especially in the latter part of the holiday season. In Somerset there are two John Fowler Holiday Parks. Sandy Meadows, near Brean, is a lodge park with 40 lodges enjoying very agreeable countryside views. It is a small, quiet site, though only a short distance from Sandy Glade Holiday Park, John Fowler’s other holiday park in Somerset, which has an indoor pool and clubhouse and is located opposite the beach at Burnham-on-Sea. There is a full range of accommodation to select, from luxury modern lodges in the woods to budget low-cost caravans, chalets and apartments. Full use of facilities such as swimming pools, water flumes, bars and much more are also included when you book.
Camping & Touring
If it is camping or touring in your own tent, caravan, campervan or trailer-tent, the holiday parks to head for are Sandaway Beach and Widemouth Bay.
