Camping In France – Hot Deals This Summer From Eurocamp

Eurocamp have some hot deals this summer for Camping In France. There’s a discount of up to 20% until early July and then 10% for the rest of July and during August. These discounts are being offered until February 29th.

A full list of what’s on offer can be found at http://www.eurocamp.co.uk/save-in-the-summer-holidays

All that’s required to confirm your booking is a deposit of £99, but rather than just abandon you to look through the options, we’d much rather point you in the direction of one or two of the best deals at locations I’ve enjoyed visiting and returning to, myself.

I’ve focused on the price range between £900 and £1,000 for a week in August. There are plenty of others for you to check yourself in both lower and higher price categories.

Camping Les Grottes de Roffy, near Sarlat, Dordogne

The pool at Camping Les Grottes de Roffy

Camping Les Grottes de Roffy is near Sarlat in the Dordogne. 7 nights here in a classic static caravan from 13th August have been on offer for £932. Click Here For More Details

Camping Les Grottes de Roffy is a few miles further away from the Dordogne than some of the busier campsites and lies north-east of Sarlat. However this is more than made up by the slightly more spacious layout of the camping park, the friendliness of the site owners and staff and the facilities onsite, especially the pool area and restaurant. The food I sampled there was certainly of a higher standard than is usual on a campsite and both the pool and restaurant area enjoy lovely views down a valley, as seen in the photo above. There is also a tennis court and table tennis courts and children’s play areas.

There is a bit of an uphill walk to the restaurant and the pool but not as severe as that at some other locations. Having stayed there myself, I’m not surprised it scores 8.9 out of 10 in reviews: http://www.eurocamp.co.uk/campsites/dordogne/les-grottes-de-roffy/reviews.html
